Day 12: Deep Thoughts: If money were not an issue, what would you spend your life doing.
This is a question vital to understanding yourself! What would you do if you didn’t need work to pay for food, shelter, and/or support your family? Maybe you’d travel, good. But go deeper. Why? Where would you go? Why did you choose that?
What would you spend your life doing? The idea of Ikigia is a Japanese idea meaning “Reason for being.” In concept, the Ikigia is the overlap between what you love, what you’re good at, what you get paid for, and what the world needs. So, if this is difficult, or generates a generic travel answer, use this idea to dig a little deeper.
What you come up with should be something in line with the values you noted on day 1. So, you’ve got total freedom, to completely be yourself and … money is not an issue…
What are you going to do with your life?
